If you're arriving in Mudgee from the Sydney Road entrance, immediately after you cross the railway line you can pull in on the left to a rest stop and toilets.

Arriving from Gulgong Road, a block before the CBD clocktower you will see Robertson Park on the right with ample parking and directly opposite the Visitor Information Centre,

You can also access this park from Douro Street (Castlereagh Highway).

From the clocktower in the main CBD, head north along Church Street, one block  towards the Cassilis Road and turn right, drive 500m and you will find the Lawson Park entrance with ample shady parking.  Why not rest up alongside the Cudgegong River for awhile.
